When I first found this Sega Mad Money machine it was in quite a sorry state.  The case was badly scratched, the chrome had rusted and pitted and the electrics were completely wrecked.  I had to strip the machine completely down and remove the shell of all the old paintwork  and give it a re spray.

The artwork on the top box was pealing  away as was the payout glass and had to be reproduced on computer.  I managed to find some slim fluorescent tube chokes which happened to fit perfectly inside the case, replaced the tubes and holders and completely rewired the electrics.   The chrome fittings had to be sent away to be refurbished.  On their return,  somehow, I managed to put the machine back together (no bits left over)!    After fitting a new spring on the jackpot all seems to be working fine.  Alfred E Neuman would be proud of me.
